Nitaris FAQ: your questions, answered. Video, photos, formats, rights.
The six things sellers ask before their first shoot — whether it will really look like their product, whether they can see it free, what they get, and who owns it. Straight answers, no asterisks.
Fidelity, previews, formats and rights.
Will the video actually look like my product?
Yes — that is the whole design constraint. Nitaris conditions every frame on the photo you upload and is built to hold your product's shape, colour, materials and logo true. It relights and reframes your product; it does not redraw it. If a paid render drifts from your product anyway, report it, and a check against your photo returns that render's credits. The fidelity page carries side-by-side proof on real products.
Can I see it before I pay?
Yes. Your first film comes as a free watermarked preview of your own product, not a demo reel of someone else's. If you love it, unlocking the clean, watermark-free master costs the same as generating it — with no re-rendering and no waiting. Nitaris sells credits rather than seats, so there is no subscription to start.
What do I need to upload?
One clear photo of the product is enough. Shoot it on a plain background, in even light, with the label or any text readable and the whole product in frame. A few extra angles give the director more to work with and sharper results, but they are optional rather than required — one good photo is the only thing Nitaris actually needs.
How long are the videos, and what formats?
A film is 10 seconds by default and can run to 20, 30 or 40, delivered as a clean MP4 in vertical 9:16 for Reels and TikTok or widescreen 16:9 for your storefront and ads. Every 10 seconds costs eight credits. Marketing photos come in square 1:1, portrait 3:4 or vertical 9:16, in batches of three, four or six shots. You choose the ratio before each generation.
Do I own what I make?
Completely. Every video and photo you generate comes with full commercial rights — use them in ads, on your storefront, in email, wherever you sell. Paid files carry no watermark, and there is no per-asset licence fee on top of the credit you already spent. The output is yours to keep.
Do you work with Shopify?
Yes — Nitaris runs as an embedded app right inside your Shopify admin: pull a product photo from your catalogue, generate, and add it to the listing without switching tools. Everything also works in the Nitaris web app, in any browser, on desktop or phone.
The fastest answer is the one you watch. Film your own product, free.
Upload the photo you already have. You’ll know within minutes whether Nitaris holds your product true — no card, no commitment.
