Do I need a subscription?

No. Nitaris sells credits, not seats — a credit renders one marketing photo, and a 10-second video costs eight. After a one-off $9 Try pack, packs start at $24 for forty credits, which is five videos. There is no monthly minimum, so a shop that launches twice a year pays for two launches.

The longer answer

Product photography is bursty. A shop shoots when it launches a line, refreshes for a season, or rebuilds a listing that is not converting — and then it does not shoot for months. A monthly fee bills that flat, which means paying most in the months you generate nothing.

What a credit is, and what the packs cost

So the unit here is a credit, and a credit is one rendered marketing photo; a ten-second film costs eight of them. Three packs, all one-off purchases — Starter at $24 for 40 credits, which is five films or forty photos, Growth at $79 for 160, and Studio at $199 for 480. The larger packs bring the per-credit cost down and add the extras that only matter at volume, like priority rendering and saved brand styles.

What renews, and what does not

Nothing renews on its own and there are no seat licences to count. Inside the embedded Shopify app the packs are bought through Shopify's own checkout as a one-time charge, and your remaining credits are shown before you generate, so you always know what a shoot will cost you.
